The TJA1051T/3,118 is a high-speed CAN transceiver designed to provide a robust interface between a CAN controller and the physical CAN bus. Manufactured by NXP Semiconductors, this third-generation device delivers improved electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electrostatic discharge (ESD) performance compared to earlier CAN transceivers.
Operating within a 4.5 V to 5.5 V supply range, the TJA1051T/3 supports high-speed CAN communication up to 1 Mbps and is compatible with CAN FD fast phase operation for higher data throughput. It features reliable differential transmit and receive capability, along with ideal passive behaviour when the power supply is off, ensuring bus stability.
